About me

“As a classic people pleaser, I often struggled with the idea of ‘taking up space’ in life as I worried about being a burden on others. Yet, as my paintings became more bold, bright and large over time, commanding attention of the eye even from a distance, I learned how to feel comfortable ‘taking up space’ in life as I saw the beauty I was able to create in my artwork that now takes up lots of space! …as a result, I began to believe who I am as a person can be beautiful enough to take up space in the lives of others as well.

I believe my paintings signify aspects of myself once lost due to fear, a fire within all along to support me in facing those fears. Now, in seeing my pieces come to life, I am reminded of a quiet warrior within always there to support me in any challenge that comes my way. As an artist, I aim to inspire others to face their own fears in a bold and bright way by finding what they need to ignite a fire within themselves.”
